andys cufflinksThe expectation placed on couples getting married to have a lavish, perfectly colour co-ordinated and utterly memorable wedding, is almost unbearable these days. Thankfully there are a lot of sensible people out there who choose to interpret this pressure as an opportunity to investigate unique and handmade things which will make their wedding truly different.

Not only is this more likely to reflect the personalities of the bride and groom better, it is likely to be cheaper as well!

It is always a great pleasure when I'm contacted by a bride or groom-to-be to discuss some bespoke glass items for their wedding.

Here are some of the options:

Cufflinks for the groom and groom's party – men don't usually get much choice with the decorative aspects of their 'outfit' but the right cufflinks can really make a difference.

Jewellery for the bride and her party – whether this means a set of perfectly matching pendants or variations on a theme so that everyone from a tiny bridesmaid to the groom's mother have a piece of jewellery that is also a special keepsake of the day.

Favours – giving little gifts to the guests is a lovely tradition and particularly so when the gift is something they can use to decorate their home. Bespoke glass decorations can tie in with the colour theme and are suitable whatever the age of the guest.

If you are planning a wedding why not give me a call to talk over some ideas?
