Sometimes I feel you need clear glass to make the colours more visible. 

This elegant piece has a weaving selection of primary colours in gentle curves alternated with clear glass.  It has been made using totally traditional leaded-light techniques where each piece of glass is handcut and then connected together with lead and soldered to make a strong and lasting panel.  A steel rod has been included in each side to give extra strength and ensure it will last for decades. 

Total dimensions including wooden stand 65 x 15 cm.  Can be placed on a terrace or sheltered location in the wooden stand, or pushed straight into the soil for year-round colour. 

A traditionally-made stained glass panel depicting a bold landscape in a pebble-like shape which brings harmony and completeness.

This design came to me whilst I was working on something else, and once I had finished cutting glass it seems to have a nod to the style of Clarice Cliff. 

Each piece of glass is hand cut and then leaded and soldered. The lead has been polished with grate-blacking to give a deep black finish. 

Supplied with a solid oak stand.

My garden is lush and green at this time of year so it is great to be able to add some structural colour in the form of my traditional stained glass garden panels.

This vibrant and bright stained glass panel has fresh shades of blue and green with a dash of orange. All the glass is hand-cut and it is constructed using completely traditional leaded-light techniques.

This significant stained glass panel shows a stylised tree against a blue sky. The sweeping foliage is in several shades of amber and green glass, with a rich brown whispy glass for the trunk. It is an original design and handmade using totally traditional leaded technique where each piece of glass is fitted together with H shaped lead and then soldered together.

The frame is handmade in walnut and the finished piece is 42 x 35 cm.

Bring a traditional winter scene into your home this Christmas with this stained glass panel.  Made using carefully chosen glass and lead came, this third winter scene panel features lighter glass, with textured iridescent glass and whispy white for the sky and opaque cream and pale blue around the trees. The iridescent glass will really show its colours as dusk falls.

A delicate glass bluetit to bring some colour to your window 'garden' all year round. 

The latest in my collection of birds is a bluetit with his unmistakable blue wing and cap. The blue is hand cut from sheet glass and the yellow, black and white are added using crushed glass to allow more shading and subtlety.  

He is approximately 10cm wide and presented in a recycled card box with yellow ribbon. 

The goldcrest is the UKs smallest bird but it certainly has impact with the flash of orange on top of its head.

It has taken me a long time to get a representation of the goldcrest that I was happy with and I hope you love the result too. I picked an olive-green glass for the main body and then a pale khaki for the lighter underside.  The wing detail is added with glassline and the black and gold stripe on the top of this head with small pieces of glass stringer. 

Each one is handmade and unique.  Presented in a buff, recycled card, box. 

A flash of electric blue - the unmistakable colour of a kingfisher.

Seeing a kingfisher in the wild is always a wonderful surprise, but a rather rare one, so if you are dazzled by these beautiful birds why not hang a glass one in your window?

Made from clear and turquoise blue glass, which is all cut by hand, with crushed glass in white, orange and blue, finished with glassline detail. 

A cheeky little fused glass robin to hang at your window. 

This cheery little chap has bags of personality and will bring a smile to your face each time you look at him. 

Hand cut from clear, red, brown and white glass and then fused in the kiln to a smooth glossy finish.

A copper loop has been fused into the glass for hanging and it is finished with a piece of fine red ribbon.   

A peaceful glass dove plaque with a wooden stand for a tealight. The fused glass plaque is 10 x 15 cm and has a dove in flight holding an olive branch in its beak. The wooden stand is made from an off-cut of pine or oak flooring. Each one is unique with the branch and leaves in a slightly different placement. 

My bee is made from 14 different pieces of glass, all cut by hand.  The body sections are brown and amber glass with clear and rainbow iridescent wings. Approximately 10 cm wide. 

We all know bees are in decline but there is lots you can do in your own garden to help make it bee friendly. Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust have a great article on 5 ways you help bees. 

A lovely customer suggested I try a nuthatch and after a couple of attempts I've got a design I'm happy with. The blue grey top of the bird is very distinctive and I used a 2mm steel blue transparent glass to achieve the colour. Approximately 11.5cm from beak to tail. Presented in a gift box made from 100% recycled card.

A stunning glass goldfinch to add to your window 'garden' all year round. 

At this time of year goldfinches tap on the glass of my office window and so I had to have a go at creating some of these beautiful birds. The amber is hand cut from sheet glass and the red, white and black are added using crushed glass to allow more shading and subtlety.  

He is approximately 10cm wide and presented in a recycled card box with red ribbon. 

This driftwood was gathered from the Forth estuary in the autumn of 2023 and is a beautiful, pale piece of wood. The wave is full of freshness and energy with four shades of blue glass and accents of white. 

A sunning artwork piece, this wave would look lovely on a windowsill or mantle to remind you of the sea whenver you look at it. 

The driftwood is 48 cm long and the wave is 23 cm x 13 cm.

Some of my fused glass waves are high and arching, but this is a long, shallow, tumbling wave, which you can imagine rolling onto a pebble beach. The wave is made up from three seperate pieces of fused glass, each using three different colours of sheet glass, cut by hand and then fused into the smooth rolling shape. The three pieces are then set into a piece of Portsmouth driftwood.

The full pice is approximately 70cm long x 6cm high and would look fabulous on a windowsill or mantle piece. 

These new herb labels would make a great gift for the cook or gardener in your life.  Each one is made from two layers of hand-cut glass with hand-painted lettering and then fired in the kiln.  Robust enough for outdoors and lovely enough for the windowsill.

To make a thoughtful gift, just buy a parsley plant from a supermarket and add the label.

I am inspired by camellias and their wonderful spring flowers, so I made a series of panels featuring these lovely flowers.  

The flowers are handcut and the stems are made from glass stringers which I have carefully shaped over a flame. 

This one features a pretty pale pink glass.
