Terms and Conditions

Your purchase of products from the web site is governed by these terms and conditions. By accessing the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

• This site is owned and provided by Katherine Wilson trading as number8glass
• While anyone in the world may visit the site, I can only accept orders through the web site for delivery to addresses on the UK Mainland, Highlands and Islands. For deliveries to the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and EU countries please send details via the 'contact us' page and I will get an accurate p & p price for you.
• If you are not completely happy with any item purchased from this site you may return it in perfect condition within 14 days for a complete refund of the purchase price. Postal charges are not refunded. 
• Title in the goods shall not pass to the customer until they have been paid for in full
• Commissioned pieces must be paid for in advance and cannot be refunded.
• I can accept no responsibility for any information, practices or products of other parties linked to this web site.
• VAT is not charged on any of the products sold on this site. 
• I reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on this site as necessary.
• These terms and conditions and all disclaimers and other material on our website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any disputes shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to which both parties submit.
• number8glass shall under no circumstances whatever be liable to the Customer, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any direct loss of, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with the the purchase/sale of any items or arising or in connection with any glass making session; and
  • number8glass’ total liability to the Customer in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with the Contract, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed the value of the items/experience bought.
  • Except as set out in these Conditions, all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Contract.
  • This clause shall survive termination of the Contract.
• Our website design, text, graphics and images are owned by number8glass and reproduction of any of these without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Terms and conditions for workshops: 

• Vouchers for workshops are valid for 1 year following date of issue.
• Vouchers can only be used to book workshops delivered by Katherine Wilson. They are not valid for those delivered by guest tutors. 
• If you are not able to attend your workshop, please get in touch as soon as possible; a full refund can be made up to 1 month before the date of the agreed session.
• It attendance is cancelled less than 1 month before the session no refund is due; however the place will be advertised on number8glass social media chanels and if it is resold, a full refund will be given.
• Attendance at workshops can be transferred to another person, with prior approval from Katherine Wilson.
